A bright personality and even brighter hopes. Cerophia is a Keeper of the Moon who has long since left the Shroud in the pursuit of knowledge. Her heart is set upon learning more of the creatures of these lands and capturing their likeness with paint and pencil, as well as furthering her skills with aether in the process.Though she still returns to her family on occasion, she is more often than not out in the wilds conducting research.A listening ear, a helpful hand and a curious mind have her travelling across the realm as to the best of her ability; though, despite her sweet nature, she is not naive to the realm and the struggles of the people she may meet along the way. Cerophia is a well natured woman who is easy to talk to when you can pull her away from her studies and her painting.

BACKGROUND
Born in the southern areas of the Shroud, Cerophia was raised in a traditional Keeper Tribe. Though they have a fascination with animals, they understand the means of needing to eat, live, work, and hunt. While they won't go out of their way to attack an animal that is minding its own business, if someone is in trouble, she will do what she can to calm them down, scare them off, or injure the creature if needs be. Though, she would much prefer not to.She was quickly placed in other duties in her Tribe as a young woman when it proved giving her a bow and asking her to hunt was a useless feat, as the teary eyed child couldn't understand why she had to do it. As an adult, however, that understanding has grown. As soon as she was old enough to leave the Tribe life, she did. Her travels have seen her across many corners of the stars.
HOOKS
- Catalog of Creatures: Cerophia is often out in the wilderness watching and painting beasts. It would be easy to stumble across the lazing cat day or night - either painting, writing, or perhaps catching a nap.- Unfriendly Beasts: Not all of the beasts Cerophia researches are friendly, some often territorial, and not up for being studied by the curious cat. It would be easy to run into her as she runs away from a particularly riled up creature, or find her injured from a previous encounter as she trudges to the nearest city.- Scholarly Pursuits: Cerophia is making a name for herself in scholarly circles, especially trying to get access into Sharlay to study the creatures in the fabled underground facilities, or see the library. Perhaps your character can offer her such a thing?- Magic Matters: Cerophia's magical capabilities are a weird mix between Pictomancy and Blue Magic, blending the art of witnessing creatures abilities to replicate them with aether with pencil and paint. If your character is knowledgable on these matters, they may recognise the similarities!- Aimless Wanderer: Her wandering in the wilds can often end up with the woman being lost on more than one occasion, and a friendly (or unfriendly!) face might be just what she needs.- Easy Going: I'm always happy to discuss other hooks if something comes to mind! Character is on Mateus, Crystal DC. I enjoy discord RP as I like long prose, though something like google docs works as well. Down for in game RP but needs to be scheduled due to work/life and having a weird schedule, as well as being GMT and timezone constraints.Player is over 21.
